Entirely on your iPhone. Jog has no account and no servers — nothing is uploaded. See our

How does scanning a business card or email work?
Jog reads the text directly on your device using Apple's on‑device text recognition, then fills in
the name, company, email, and phone for you to review. The photo never leaves your phone.
How do I log an encounter?
Open a person and tap “Add encounter,” then set the date, location, and a quick note about what
happened. Each person keeps a running timeline.
What's the difference between the three tabs?
Business keeps work contacts (with card/email scanning), Friends keeps the people you're close to,
and Acquaintances is for people you run into — with notes on where you know them and how to
recognize them.
Will my data sync to other devices?
Jog stores data locally on each device. It's included in your encrypted iPhone backup if you back
up your device.
