Jog (“the app”) is a personal memory tool that helps you remember the people you meet. This policy explains how Jog handles your information. In short: it doesn’t leave your iPhone.
None. Jog has no accounts, no sign‑in, and no servers. Everything you enter — names, notes, encounters, photos, and any details — is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on‑device database (SwiftData). We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of it.
If you choose to scan a business card or a photo of an email, Jog reads the text directly on your device using Apple’s on‑device text recognition (the Vision framework). The image and the text are used only to fill in the contact’s details and are never uploaded anywhere. Jog only accesses your camera or photo library when you explicitly choose to add a photo.
Jog contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third‑party tracking SDKs. We do not use cookies or identifiers, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
Your information lives only on your device (and in your own iCloud device backup, if you have backups enabled — that backup is controlled by Apple and your iCloud settings, not by Jog). To delete your data, delete the relevant entries in the app or delete the app, which removes all of its locally stored data.
Jog does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
